Clip on human hair extensions are pretty self explanatory. They are pieces of hair attached to a hair clip and they literally just 'clip on' to pieces of your regular hair. Human hair weaves are pieces of hair that are sewn into different layers of your normal hair.

There is also the technique of fusion human hair extensions. Fusion human hair extensions are the process of bonding your own human hair to roughly 25 sections of human hair creating rows throughout your head which create a fuller look.

Keep in mind that not everyone should get hair extensions; if you are going through Chemotherapy and just getting new hair to grow back in (the hair is still too fragile). If you have chemically damaged hair, the hair is too fragile and may break when you try to remove the fusion hair extensions.
